The Best Flying Schools in India, According to Students

Not according to their own brochures. This page ranks the 41 DGCA-approved flying training organisations by what cadets who actually trained at them have said — and shows you which ones have scam reports against them.

How to read any “best flying school” list, including this one

Every ranking has a bias, so here is ours in plain terms.

  • We do not take money from academies. No academy can pay to appear higher, and none has been asked to.
  • A high average from two reviews means very little. The review count sits next to every score for that reason, and we do not smooth small samples upward to make them look respectable.
  • The DGCA category and the student rating measure different things. The regulator assesses the organisation. Students rate what it was like to train there. An academy can score well on one and badly on the other, and where that happens it is worth knowing why.
  • Silence is not endorsement. An academy with no reviews has not been cleared of anything — nobody has written in yet.

Every academy, by DGCA rank

Your name is never revealed. Not once, not to anyone.

  • The academy can never see who you areYour review appears under a generated handle like Crosswind-5CD — never your name, never your email, never your photo. There is no way for an academy to work out which student wrote which review.
  • Nothing personal is ever publishedPhone numbers, email addresses and payment handles are stripped out automatically before a review is stored — including from your own text, so you cannot identify yourself by accident.
  • Photos are cleaned before they are uploadedAttach a fee receipt or a logbook page and the location, time and camera data are removed in your browser before the file ever leaves your phone.
  • You can withdraw at any timeDelete your review and it is gone permanently — the text, the photo and the recording with it. You do not have to ask anyone.
